If you have a hard time sorting out the details of single malts, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Let us help! Stop in to sip on two distinct styles of single malt Scotch from some of the best distilleries around, Laphroaig and Auchentoshan. We’ll be pouring Laphroaig 10 Year and Cairdeas, aged in ex-bourbon and Amontillado sherry casks. Then try Auchentoshan American Oak, aged exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels.
Auchentoshan stands apart from every other distillery in Scotland for their unique distillation practices and keen attention to detail. Totally unpeated malt, Oregon pine washbacks and a special triple distillation process are some of the practices that lead to this citrusy, fruity, soft and multi-dimensional spirit. Stop in to sip on the 12 Year Old and Three Wood, aged in bourbon, sherry and fine wine casks before bottling.
Join us to sample two of the most highly regarded Scotches in the industry, Macallan and Highland Park. Two distinct styles with plenty of history behind them: Macallan, which uses only the top 16% of its whisky to then age in distinct, hand-selected barrels for the most premium Scotch available, and Highland Park, deriving its signature sweet & smoky style from 4,000 year old peat. Sample both the 12 year and 15 year expressions from both producers and get acquainted with one of the world’s oldest and highly regarded spirits.
Join us for a sip around Scotland, where we’ll be featuring three distinctive styles that represent the diverse, dynamic differences between regions and distilling methods.
