  • Vignerons de Chusclan La Ferme de Gicon

    Grenache Rosé

    Gard, France

    A beautiful wild salmon color, this wine features ripe honeydew, herbal fennel notes, and strawberries on the nose before your first sip. Delicious melon and berry notes give way to stone fruit and minerality. The mouthfeel is light bodied and finishes with balanced acidity. A chef’s salad and this fine sipper will make for the perfect power lunch.

    Carricante / Catarratto

    Etna, Italy

    This organically farmed bright straw yellow wine is grown in the shadows of Europe’s largest active volcano. On the nose there are intense aromas of pear and dried herbs that stem from the rich volcanic soils. Complex layers of citrus fruit, minerality, and salty sea winds come together for a long, graceful finish. Enjoy this wine with fried fish and chips.

    A blend of Grenache blanc, Bourboulenc, Clairette blanche, and Roussanne. The vivid golden yellows will intermingle with shades of green as you pour this wine into a glass. Perfumes of white flowers and peaches is what this wine offers as you tip it back. The flavors are subtle, well balanced, and fresh, with a long elegant fruit finish. Open this wine next to a big boat of sushi.

    This wine delivers rich floral aromas of violets and red fruits, with a distinct ruby red color and flashes of purple hues in the light. This wine is classic Sangiovese, meaning it’s pleasingly dry, has food friendly acidity, with a return of red fruits in the finish. Pair with roasted pheasant and chestnut stuffing.

    Valdepeñas, Spain

    Deep cherry red in color, this wine reveals elaborate fragrances of vanilla bean, chocolate, spices, and fruit jam. The soft palate of this Tempranillo is enhanced by the good tannin structure and long effortless finish. A wonderful pre-dinner snack to be savored with toasted almonds and a chunk of Manchego.
